Bret Michaels will Undergo Heart Surgery
Bret Michaels will undergo surgery in January to fix a defect in his heart.
The 47-year-old rocker suffered a life-threatening brain hemorrhage and a subsequent stroke earlier this year. While hospitalized for the hemorrhage, doctors discovered a hole in his heart from birth, but said the defect is "operable and treatable."
Bret Michaels is currently on his nationwide Roses and Thorns tour, which wraps in December. After surgery, his autobiography, Roses & Thorns: The Reality of My Rock & Roll Fantasy is scheduled to hit stores in March.
