32 year old Karina Smirnoff says she’s surprised her Dancing With the Stars partner, Jersey Shore hunk Michael “The Situation” Sorrentino, hasn’t tried to chat her up!

““He hasn’t hit on me! And I’m taking it as an insult,” she said.

“Like, what am I? A grenade?”

In Jersey Shore speak, a grenade is a term for a woman who falls low on the attractive meter.

“We’re like brother and sister,” Smirnoff said of her relationship with Sorrentino. “We laugh, we definitely have some flirtatious kind of mystery.”

Karina revealed she approached Season 11 of DWTS with some trepidation as her former fiance Chmerkovskiy is still a castmember.

“I was a little concerned about that coming into this season and that was one of the main reasons why I wanted last season off,” she said.

“It’s cool… It’s my job; I love what I do; I love dancing; I love choreographing and I get paid for it so it’s pretty much you know perfect scenario, perfect situation. I wish him all the best.”

Karina Smirnoff has previously dated Maksim Chmerkovskiy and currently has a boyfriend, pro baseball player Brad Penny.

A part of celebration for his 28th birthday, rapper Lil Wayne digitally released for Weezy’s highly anticipated "I Am Not a Human Being" album on September 27. This is the predecessor for his also highly anticipated Tha Carter IV album.

The physical release for “I Am Not a Human Being” isn’t until October 12th, however fans can download the album via major online retailers, such as iTunes. The physical version of the album will have 2 additional tracks.

Though Wayne’s fans are excited about the early release of their favorite rapper’s new album, retailers are said to be upset because they feel like the Young Money head honcho’s decision to release an early digital version of the album will affect physical sales in a few weeks.

“It’s disturbing,” one retailer told Billboard, “It’s definitely putting brick-and-mortar second, and we are going to lose business that we would normally get. How is the consumer going to know that the album will have a second physical release?”

Twilight star Taylor Lautner has been issued a push-up challenge by the defendant after getting quite the strange counteroffer while trying to settle a trailer lawsuit out of court.

Taylor's recent court filings alleging that Brent McMahon, who owns McMahon's RV in Irvine, California, failed to complete a $300,000 custom trailer in time for him to use on the set of his movie.

According to NY Daily News, McMahon wants to face-off against Lautner in a push-up contest rather than pay the actor the $40,000 in which he's seeking.

Denying any wrongdoing and expressing plans to go to court if Taylor doesn't accept the push-up plan, McMahon, 47, has even said that he'll donate the $40,000 in question to Children's Hospital of Orange County if her ends up beating his younger counterpart.

Meanwhile, Lautner's attorney, Robert Barta, was unwilling to comment - seemingly not taking to kindly to the unusual offer.

Prior to the concert, he announced that, for every ticket purchased, $1.06 would go to area flood relief, as the region still recovers from a massive spring storm that left many dead and homeless.

Ke$ha, Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus also performed benefit concerts in the state since this natural disaster struck.

"I’m really glad to be here and help out, something that’s really important to me," Bieber said at a press conference prior to the event, which raised $32,000-plus for the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.

Patricia Neal died at 84 (1926-2010)

Oscar-winning actress Patricia Neal passed away at the age of 84 of cancer, according to media reports.

Neal won an Academy Award for her role in the 1963 film Hud alongside Paul Newman and boasted a long list of stage, film and TV credits over decades.

She once had an affair with actor Gary Cooper with whom she starred in The Fountainhead and Bright Leaf but it ended in disaster after his wife found out.

She was married to the British writer Roald Dahl for 30 years with whom she had five children. Their son suffered severe injuries after being hit by a taxi when he just four months old and their oldest child, daughter Olivia, died from the measles.
Many years later, Neal's marriage to Dahl ended after 30 years in 1983 after the writer had an affair with one of her friends and she moved from England to the United States where she split her time between New York and Martha's Vineyard.

When Neal was pregnant with their fifth child in 1965 she suffered three massive strokes and was in a coma for three weeks, but eventually recovered.

"I think I was born stubborn, that's all," Neal said in a biography on the website of the Patricia Neal Rehabilitation Center that was dedicated in her honor in 1978 by the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Among her memorable performances are those in in 1950's A Face in the Crowd, 1951's The Day the Earth Stood Still, and 1960's Breakfast at Tiffany's.

More recently, she appeared with Glenn Close in Cookie's Fortune in 1999 and was featured in Lifetime's movie Flying By with Billy Ray Cyrus in 2009.

RIP: Patricia Neal.

Controversy on Jesinta Campbell, Miss Australia's Costume

PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) asked Jesinta Campbell, Miss Australia to leave her Ugg boots at home before leaving for Miss Universe 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada on August 23 because it was cruel and unethical.

Mulesing, a common practice among Australian farmers, involves removing strips of wool-bearing skin from the buttocks of sheep in a bid to reduce a potentially lethal maggot infestation called flystrike.

“Some people say that Ugg boots put the ‘Ugg’ in ‘ugly,’ but we believe that mulesing puts the ‘ugly’ in Uggs,” said PETA’s director of campaigns, Jason Baker, in a statement.

PETA says there are more humane ways to prevent flystrike, and that it has persuaded many clothing designers and retailers such as H&M and Limited Brands to stop sourcing mulesed wool.

Campbell’s costume, by Sydney designer Natasha Dwyer was said to have been inspired by the outback. But Australian media described it as a “national joke” and a “travesty.” The country does not have a national costume.

Campbell, 18, who won the Miss Universe Australia 2010 title in June 17, could not immediately be reached for comment. She previously described the costume as “incredible.”

16-year old Justin Bieber attended the New Look Foundation’s First Annual World Leadership Awards in Atlanta Friday night. This event brought together heads of state, philanthropists, and celebrities, as eight individuals were honored for their commitment to supporting and solving numerous pressing issues.

And Justin was among the honorees! He received the Global Youth Leader Award, gave a speech on stage.

According to reps for the company, the whole thing is a gift for V since she had to give her pricey engagement ring back to Jake.

If you're looking for Mel Gibson, some reliable source spotted him on a family fishing trip -- and Oksana Grigorieva and her attorneys are none too happy.

Mel has been out of the country all week fishing with 2 of his sons. They've learned Oksana's laywers tried to schedule Gibson's deposition -- for the ongoing child custody battle -- right smack in the middle of his trip. The depo's been delayed since Mel is unavailable.

According to sources, Oksana's people think the delay is evidence that Mel is not committed to Lucia -- but we're told Oksana's lawyers knew Mel was away when they set the date.

Sources say Mel will be front and center for his deposition in short order.

Starring Christina Aguilera and Cher, the Steven Antin directed musical/drama promises plenty of vocal action and sizzling dance routines - as can be seen in the film's trailer.

As for the movie, "Burlesque" finds Miss Aguilera playing "a small-town girl ventures to Los Angeles and finds her place in a neo-burlesque club run by a former dancer (Cher)."

Making for quite the anticipated release, Eminem and Rihanna launched their new music video for "Love the Way You Lie" on MTV on Thursday night (August 5).

Instantly becoming quite the hit, the passionate video features appearances by Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan - with the pair sharing a steamy smooch as Eminem and Rihanna sang in the background.

Talking about the video, Monaghan recently told MTV News, "I think we tried as hard as we could to not glorify the violence, to try and explain that this was a relationship that is by no means ideal and a relationship that probably should have ended a lot sooner than it did. The concept of 'Love the Way You Lie' was essentially a look at the relationship that Eminem was in with his wife, Kim, so I kind of felt like I was playing Eminem a little bit, and Megan Fox was kind of playing Kim.

"It's the story of them getting to know each other, and it's the story of their tumultuous relationship, and it was the story of the breakdown of their relationship," Dominic continued. "Ultimately, what I think he's trying to say in the song ... is that he should have walked away a little bit quicker than he did and not let it get as messy as it did."
